About

My Story

Much of my journey has been about coming home to my body and my senses.

A profound longing to understand the human condition and embody my truest self led me to explore many facets of contemplative and expressive arts, including yoga, meditation, qi gong, contact improv, vocal improv, and clown. I also found home in the stillness of the natural world, amidst the trees, mountains, and ocean.

In my thirties, I went through a period of profound loss, losing my mom and my brother, and walking alongside my partner as he faced deep grief of his own. I was grateful during that time to have practices and relationships (including my own therapist) that helped me bring compassion and presence to myself as I moved through the grief and heartbreak.

Experiencing all of that taught me the capacity to be with difficulty, without turning away. It humbled me to the reality of impermanence we all face and helped me uncover a strength and resilience I didn’t know I had. Life can be hard, and things can flip on their head in an instant. It is invaluable to have people in our lives who truly get it, who can say, “I’m here – I see you,” and help us open back up to life again.

I’ve come to trust that we’re held in many ways – by our own deepest nature, by community, and by the wider web of life that sustains us.
This understanding guides me in my life and my work.

My Approach

My practice draws on somatic, mindfulness, and attachment-based modalities.  Our sessions are an invitation to slow down and meet what’s here with presence and curiosity.

When we can truly sit with what’s arising, transformation naturally becomes possible, allowing us to return to a sense of vitality and aliveness. It’s a privilege to witness and accompany someone in the depth of their experience. I hold space for the courage it takes to open, the tenderness of what arises, and the possibility of change. This is a place  to welcome your humanity – tears, laughter, and everything in between.

Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,

the world offers itself to your imagination,

calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting –

over and over announcing your place

in the family of things.
